ABOUT ALPINE MIND THERAPY

Therapy for Young People

I’m passionate about helping teens and young adults develop insight, create change, and feel better. I provide a nonjudgmental and solution-focused space to process and be understood. Together, we can work on your stability, healing, and growth.

HEY, I’M TIM

I’m a licensed clinical social worker in Boulder, CO. I’ve been a full time psychotherapist since 2019, and I’ve worked in a variety of therapeutic roles since 2015.

From an early age, I recognized that I had a passion for teaching, problem-solving, and supporting friends dealing with the same difficult emotions and experiences that I was dealing with.

I thought that these skills may lead me to be a high school teacher (who coaches basketball), but after a positive experience in therapy as a young adult, I was inspired to use these skills to become a therapist.

MORE ABOUT ME

Maybe we have something in common! Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy:

Jamming with my band, snowboarding, yoga, backpacking, playing sports, and taking advantage of all the amazing experiences that Colorado has to offer.

I’m naturally curious about what drives people—their interests, passions, and unique experiences—whether or not they tie into our therapeutic work (though they often do). I love discovering how often I connect with my clients over a mutual interest; it’s a shared thread that makes our time together even more real.

I CONSIDER IT A PRIVILEGE

It is a privilege to witness the challenges and triumphs my clients experience, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to provide steady support as they navigate their healing, growth, and unique life journeys.

Life can be messy and complex, yet the capacity to show resilience, heal, and overcome obstacles is one of the most remarkable aspects of being human. I feel profoundly inspired in my role as a therapist, where I get to engage in meaningful, life-changing work alongside the people I serve.
